Refrigerant R600a (Isobutane) is a natural hydrocarbon refrigerant primarily used in domestic refrigerators, freezers, beverage coolers, and small commercial refrigeration units. It is not used in air conditioners or large industrial freezers. R600a is valued for its excellent energy efficiency, very low global warming potential, and zero ozone depletion.
