REFRIGERANT R22

Refrigerant R22 (Chlorodifluoromethane) is an HCFC refrigerant that has been extensively used in residential, commercial, and industrial air-conditioning systems, refrigeration units, and chillers. It is especially common in older split ACs, window air conditioners, cold storage systems, and refrigeration equipment. R22 provides stable cooling performance, excellent heat transfer properties, and reliable compressor lubrication compatibility. Although R22 is being phased out globally due to its ozone depletion potential, it remains widely used for maintenance, servicing, and operation of existing systems. R22 is not typically used in modern automotive air conditioning. This refrigerant is available in multiple cylinder sizes, making it suitable for technicians, service centers, and large-scale HVAC operations.
